Long time.... No posts

HELLLLLOOOOO My Sweet Followers and Friends!!

First off I want to apologize that it has been so long since I have posted anything at all. I have just let this fall by the wayside and let the crazy busy life get the best of me.

Finally working my way back into things that I love dearly like blogging even though I am still super new at it. Just a great way to clear my head of what is all floating around in that noggin of mine.

Plus its a super awesome way to share my journey with friends and family as well. Here is a little update on what has been going on since I last posted.

Update in Brief:

Still continuing my weight loss journey and down 44lbs so far (I will submit a updated pic soon to show you all my progress.) and pushing forward after my MAJOR Christmas set back. We all have them right? 

Working out is still going great! Believe it or not I am so loving the gym! Till Mid May I am participating and leading a Beginning running group with the WRA (Women Run Arkansas) talk about a major step out of the comfort zone there. I haven't ran since high school and then it was only in off season of basketball. But I am enjoying the learning process of running yes its hard, and I struggle a lot with my body but its part of it specially since I am not use to it, I am so ready to get past that part and enjoy it even more. 

Competed in my 2nd 5K this past weekend in town it was a night glo run race. It was so fun, I got to do this with some great friends that support and motivate me in such an awesome way! Pics to come of this as well. We were all decked out in our tutus and had a blast!! 

I just recently stopped attending Weight Watchers. The program is awesome don't get me wrong, but at this time it was in my best interest to discontinue. I felt that my weight training and workout was messing with my head and the scales and it was really frustrating me in a major way that I had to step away from it for a while. My dear friend who is a personal trainer at the gym that I attend said that she would weight and measure me anytime so I could still be accountable for that part. So what I have been doing is logging my foods into myfitnesspal and then having her measure me and I am following a healthy lifestyle and don't have to concentrate on points but staying within cals and trying to watch my sodium intake and etc.
